Impeller of Vents VCUn centrifugal fans
In industrial centrifugal fans of the Vents VCUn series (snail type), a specially designed and high-performance centrifugal impeller (impeller) is used. Its design is a key element that determines the high static pressure and significant performance required for effective operation in large supply and exhaust ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Design Features
The impeller in the VCUn series, as a rule, uses forward-curved blades. This type of blades allows the fan to create high pressure with relatively smaller dimensions and rotation speeds, which makes it ideal for overcoming the resistance of an extensive network of air ducts.
The impeller is made of durable carbon steel (or stainless steel on request), which ensures its reliability and resistance to mechanical loads during intensive operation. The entire unit, including the impeller, is placed in a spiral casing, which is also made of steel and coated with polymer paint to protect against corrosion.
Aerodynamic Advantages
The use of a centrifugal impeller guarantees one-sided air suction and its powerful movement under high pressure. Depending on the model, the impeller diameter can vary (for example, up to 500 mm), providing a capacity of up to 19,000 m³/h. This allows the VCUn series to effectively serve large industrial, commercial and public facilities.
To ensure flexibility in installation and connection, the impeller can have a right or left direction of rotation, which is specified when ordering. The high quality of execution and balancing of the impeller minimizes vibrations and noise during fan operation.
