The Vents KSK 355 4E kitchen fan is used for exhaust ventilation of restaurant kitchens, dining rooms or Josper ovens. The fan is capable of removing hot air containing fat with a temperature of up to 120°C and a maximum capacity of 3545 m3/h. It can be installed both indoors and outdoors. To reduce the noise level, 50 mm mineral wool sound insulation is used in the fan housing. This fan model uses a single-phase motor.

Design
To insulate against noise and heat loss, the fan housing is made of galvanized steel using 50 mm thick mineral wool. For ease of service and cleaning of the fan, the motor-impeller unit opens on hinges.
A rubber seal is provided on the fan flanges for a hermetic connection with the air ducts. The mounting frame is equipped with vibration dampers.
Motor
The fan uses a single-phase motor with a squirrel-cage rotor and a steel centrifugal impeller with forward-curved blades. The motor is maintenance-free and equipped with built-in thermal contacts with terminals for connecting to an external overheating protection device. Motor winding insulation class F. Protection type IP 54.
Speed regulation
It is allowed to use smooth or step-by-step regulation of the fan's performance. For this, a frequency regulator or autotransformer must be used. It is allowed to connect several fans to one regulating device, provided that the total power consumption and operating current do not exceed the nominal parameters of the regulator.
The Vents RS-3,0-T regulator is suitable for this model (purchased separately).
Installation
The kitchen fan is designed for connection to round air ducts. The fan is mounted on the wall using brackets. Connection to the electrical network is carried out using a terminal box installed on the electric motor. The length of the electric cable must be selected with a margin, taking into account the tilting of the motor-impeller unit. It is recommended to install flexible inserts before and after the fan. When installing the fan, it is necessary to provide a straight section of the air duct with a length of at least one diameter of the air duct on the inlet side and at least three diameters on the air outlet side.
Warranty
The manufacturer guarantees the normal operation of the fan for 24 months from the date of sale.
