The rectangular duct fan Vents VKPFI 4D 600x300 is designed to move air with a temperature from - 25°C to +65°C in supply or exhaust ventilation systems of premises. The fan is connected to other ventilation elements with a cross section of 600x300 mm, the fan housing is soundproofed with 50 mm thick mineral wool.

Construction
The Vents VKPFI 4D 600x300 fan housing is made of galvanized steel. VKPFI models have a 50 mm thick layer of sound and heat insulation made of mineral wool.
Motor
4- and 6-pole asynchronous motors with an external rotor and an impeller made of galvanized steel with forward-curved blades are used. Fans with this turbine design are characterized by high performance and a relatively large pressure drop. To provide thermal protection against overheating, thermal contacts with terminals for connecting external protection devices are built into the motor winding. The use of rolling bearings in motors ensures a long service life. To achieve accurate characteristics, low noise levels and safe operation of the fan, each turbine undergoes dynamic balancing during assembly. The fan motor has a protection class of IP 44.
Speed regulation
Fan speed regulation can be carried out:
- using an autotransformer device
- using a frequency regulator.
Several fans can be connected to one regulating device at once, provided that the total power and operating current do not exceed the nominal parameters of the regulator.
Step regulation
The Vents three-phase speed regulator of the RSA5D-3.5-T* series is used for stepwise changes in the performance of fan-based ventilation systems. The regulator has five speeds with an output voltage of 90V - 150V - 200V - 280V - 400V.

Smooth regulation with a frequency converter
The Vents frequency regulator of the VFED-750-TA* series is used to change the performance of fans equipped with three-phase motors. It can be used to power a three-phase fan from a "household" network with a voltage of 220 V.

Installation
The rectangular duct fan is mounted in the gap of rectangular air ducts and does not require special fastening if the connection is made directly to them. In the case of connection through flexible inserts, fastening to the building structure using supports, suspensions or brackets is required. The fan can be installed in any position, taking into account the direction of the air flow (indicated by an arrow on the fan housing). It is also necessary to provide access for servicing the fan. The fan is powered via external terminals. For inspection and maintenance, the fan has a technological cover on the housing.
