The duct fan for rectangular ducts Vents VKPFI 4E 500x300 is a centrifugal fan designed for use in supply or exhaust ventilation systems. It is connected to other ventilation elements with a cross section of 500x300 mm. It is capable of moving air with a temperature range from - 25°C to +45°C with a maximum capacity of 2350 m3/h. The fan housing is soundproofed with mineral wool.

Design
Vents VKPF 4E fan housing 500x300 made of galvanized steel. VKPFI models have a layer of sound and heat insulation made of mineral wool 50 mm thick.
Motor
4- and 6-pole asynchronous motors with an external rotor and an impeller made of galvanized steel with forward-curved blades are used. Fans with this turbine design are characterized by high performance and a relatively large pressure drop. To provide thermal protection against overheating, thermal contacts with terminals for connecting external protection devices are built into the motor winding. The use of rolling bearings in motors ensures a long service life. To achieve precise characteristics, low noise levels and safe operation of the fan, each turbine undergoes dynamic balancing during assembly. The fan motor has a protection class of IP 44.
Speed regulation
Regulation can be either smooth or stepless, and is carried out using a triac or autotransformer regulator. Several fans can be connected to one regulating device at once, provided that the total power and operating current do not exceed the nominal parameters of the regulator.
The Vents RS-4,0-PS regulator is suitable for this model (purchased separately).
Installation
The rectangular duct fan is mounted in the gap of rectangular air ducts and does not require special fastening if connected directly to them. In case of connection via flexible inserts, fastening to the building structure using supports, suspensions or brackets is required. The fan can be installed in any position, taking into account the direction of air flow (indicated by an arrow on the fan housing). It is also necessary to provide access for servicing the fan. Power supply to the fan is carried out via external terminals. For inspection and maintenance, the fan has a technological cover on the housing.
